Ron Lybarger, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, has been providing a wide range of services to D/deaf, and hard of hearing individuals for nearly twenty years. He has worked in many different settings and holds degrees in Sign Language Interpreting, Addiction Studies, and Counseling Psychology. He has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance abuse related issues among individuals of various ages and circumstances.
In addition to his work in mental health and education, Dr. Lybarger has a special interest in psychological and emotional issues that impact Sign Language Interpreters including Secondary/Vicarious Trauma and Interpreter Self-Care. Dr. Lybarger is a published author and frequent presenter at regional, national and international conferences.
